Rip The Greens is finished. Finally. Two seasons and nearly a few thousand miles later, we hiked our way out of the backcountry and into the video studio, where hundreds of earned turns, face shots, and kickers through trees have led us to creating this amazing film.
Join us Saturday November 12, 2011 at Reciprocity Studio 209 College St in Burlington Vermont! ( www.reciprocitystudio.com ) Come experience our travels as we venture across the northern Green Mountains in search of the best powder Vermont has to offer. Our film is backed by some of the areas most talented musicians including The Lynguistic Civilians, Blinded By Rage, ill Intelleks, Musical Manslaughter, Filthy Minutes Of Fame, and many more! We will be hosting two showings one at 6:00pm and another at 8:00pm. Doors will be open at 5:35 and at 7:35 for each of the showings, and space is limited so show up a little early.
While it certainly has been a long time coming, it was worth the time and effort. We want to thank all of the people who helped make this film possible, including all the family and friends who have supported us along the way, all those out there who follow our posts here, our Facebook and our Twitter pages, and also to the local businesses that have shown their support: Williston Vision Repair, Brickliners, A&G Seamless Floors, and Garage Outfitters.
Season Update:
While we have yet to see much early season snow up here in the Northern Vermont mountains, the central and southern mountains have already been dusted with some of the white stuff. We even had a chance to get down there and make a few early turns ourselves (Josh Auerbach seen enjoying the ride: to the right). It was far from incredible, nothing but 15-20 inches of heavy pow on grass but well worth the trip. With the return to winter is also the return of our Clip Of The Week segments here on our website. This season we have epic plans to push further into the back country to bring you more east coast powder than ever before. If there is one thing you can expect to see, it’s our crew continuing to push the boundaries of east coast shredding.
Our next movie (which is yet to be named) we will be filming exclusively throughout the Northeastern New England and in the Gasepie Parc region of Quebec, in search of new lines, endless powder, and more excitement for our viewers. We hope to see you at the showings, it’s going to be awesome winter!
